I sorta did this by creating a simple area emitter that birthed particles from the same mask, but used Get Color from Layer to pick up the colour of the actor. You’ve got an orb effect. Animate both Particular layers to appear and then fade off Place a copy of your background plate in a new composition On top of that, place keyed out footage of your actor either greenscreened, or difference matted from a locked-off camera shot Place your particular layers on top of these. I haven’t seen the effect in question, but first you’ll need to generate a “mask” in another app in the shape of the person you want particles to fill, then save it in an alpha channel. In your paint or compositing program, import a frame where the actor is standing in the pose he’ll be in when orbing away, and erase everything around him. I found one but it’s too complicated,i simply asked the owner of the tutorial if he could support charked tutorial with pictures or make a video tutorial but he didn’t reply.

Thanx elvis you been realy helpfull i”ll try a few tests and post it here thanx again for your help: I just started with a blank emitter, and used the basic blur particle shape for both the glow and charmed orbing effect dust specks, a star shape for the sparkles.
PI is a standalone program and does not have true 3D although you can fake it by using the zoom tool.

Owww i apologize for the strange language but orbing is a kind of teleportation in charmed T. Thanx alot elvis for the information its been helpfull ive kind of tried it and it looks preety good one question that im not sure if its he right way this is what i do: Yeah, that’s right, though you may want to start creating the particles a few frames before 35 so that they fill in quicker once the actor hits the “orbing pose”.
Of charmed orbing effect, it’s orbin to take a LOT more work than this, but hopefully this will get you pointed in the right direction.

But it doesn’t work that well, and looking at the Charmed clips, they probably use a simple Motion Blur that only moves upward rather than just fading out between the live action shot and the plate shot, causing the actor to blur out of existence, cjarmed is partially covered up by the particles.
